Brand & Design
I used cream and navy blue as the two primary colours of this brand. Navy blue is heavily associated with academia and literature whilst the cream is extremely contrasting and really does make the branding stand out. It was important to do two versions of the logo; one full artwork for the podcast platforms and one simplified web version that you can see in the header of the website.
Website
I designed and developed the website myself saving on costs and overheads. I wanted to ensure the website was accessible, easy to navigate, and most importantly extremely mobile responsive.
The website features a modern audio player where users can play episodes straight from the website instead of having to access third-party platforms, a poem directory with all the poems featured on the show and a blog feed.
In total, I spent under one hundred pounds in expenses to have this website live and completed in three weeks.
